Hi Claire, Which kdenlive version are you using ? I'm testing on cauldron with current 0.9.6 and the program starts fine. I also get the no LADSPA plugins found message but that's unrelated and has been appearing since before because a missing require (I'll fix this too).

It's whichever one was current when 4alpha 32bit classic DVD was released Juan. Has it been updated since then?

I'll do a vbox install to find out for certain.
$ rpm -q kdenlive kdenlive-0.9.6-2.mga4 $ kdenlive No LADSPA plugins were found! Check your LADSPA_PATH environment variable. libDeckLinkAPI.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory QCoreApplication::postEvent: Unexpected null receiver ---
It does actually start now though, weird.
Ok so is this fixed and can be closed ?
It still shows the error Juan, is that something to be concerned about?
(In reply to claire robinson from comment #7) > It still shows the error Juan, is that something to be concerned about? Well I don't know, but it has nothing to do with this report, and I will fix it anyways :)
There's bug #11193 which seems to be a duplicate of this one.
This bug is still valid in Mageia4 alpha3 with LiveDVD x86_64.
