Drag the Firefox launcher from the Menu -> Internet to the desktop

The icon presented will be the traditional Firefox icon. Clicking on the
icon to launch Firefox will change the icon to the new Firefox 22 icon
look and will stay that way until closed at which time it will revert
back to the traditional icon look.

I think KDE is changing colors of all desktop icons when
launched so I mistaken it for the newer different icon.
This bug is (self)resolved.
