Mageia 3 run just fine yesterday after latest updates.
However, when I tried to boot today it hangs with a small window saying:

Could not start D-Bus. Can you call qdbus?
okay

Clicking the okay button the boot process hangs with this last message in the screen:
Starting LSB: Wait for hotplugged network to be up...

Then it hangs.

I had to get to my system, so I reinstalled Mageia 3 and did all updatest and now it boots without any problem.

Glad things are working for you.  This is a strange bug and I don't know what could have caused it.  Let's close this for now.
