Description of problem:
With recent updates, I get blank screen at boot.  Mageia 3.8.13-1 doesn't have this problem.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible: always.


Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Hardware:  Asus laptop Model U46E-Bal7 with Intel i7 processor and Intel HD Graphics 3000.

3 more forum users can't boot into Mageia any more with kernel 3.8.13.4

Marja, do they have 2 separated partitions for / and /usr?

If yes, this may be a duplicate of:

Mageia 3 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status 4 months ago.

Mageia 3 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Mageia
please feel free to click on "Version" change it against that version of Mageia
and reopen this bug.
