Description of problem:I installed an Epson R200 printer on the USB port of a Livebox 2. This works nice under windows and worked well under Mandriva, my last system. The printer was declared as ipp://livebox-adress:631/ipp/. The firewall is of. I can connect to internet and manage the livebox with Firefox. In the CCM, the printer appears with a no entry sign. Print a test page is not possible. I tried the "Problèmes?" option of the tab "serveur" of the printer management page of the CCM. The result was: "cups-ipp-missing-validate-job". I must say that the R200 works well when it is connected directly on an USB port of the computer. The problem occurs on the Ethernet network on witch my desktop is connected and on the Wifi connection of my netbook. This problem seems the same as the bug 7033 https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7033 and this one on Ubuntu (http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=685831). I tried to reinstall cups and co, I tried to install the printer via CCM and Cups Management with Firefox. I tried all the installation options for the printer (ipp, ipps, http, socket...). No change. I must say that the printer is detected by the CCM and Cups manager via Firefox. If useful for the teamm, I can provide the file of errors that was generated by the debug serveur option. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible:Every time I want to use this printer. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Take an Epson printer 2. Plug it on the USB port of a Livebox Orange (whatever is the port -one is foor disks the other for printers) 3. Try to activate and use the printer 4 no print file rejected Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

I found that the problem was solved by the Ubuntu team. Here is a page of their bugzilla site https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/945028 Perhaps this may help
