I saw the discussion on IRC that led to this bug report.  I don't think this is actually valid, as you were saying that you had vboxadditions stuff installed on the system because it's a VM.  The virtualbox-kernel packages are for hosts, and shouldn't be installed.  Hopefully we can clarify this.

I dont use virtual box it was an installed system on a partition. Hope this helps

Further info

Live iso images have the virtualbox-guest-additions, but not the vboxadditions-kernel-deaktop586-latest, so the package won't get updated when installing a new kernel.

Thanks, glad we got that clarified.  I'll step out now, but CC Thomas, as he creates the Live CDs (and the kernels) so this will be relevant to him for the Mageia 4 cycle.

So it's on the correct ISOs. I wonder if it was removed with the 'unused packages' when installing the Live.
