Hello, I downloaded RStudio (a cool gui for R) from http://download1.rstudio.org/rstudio-0.97.551-i686.rpm I installed R-base from the Control Center, and trying to install RStudio this happens: # urpmi rstudio-0.97.551-i686.rpm A requested package cannot be installed: rstudio-0.97.551-1.i686 (due to unsatisfied libRblas.so) Continue installation anyway? (Y/n) n Googling a little, I saw that other people have had the same issue https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4870&p=34081&hilit=rstudio#p34081 http://support.rstudio.org/help/discussions/problems/2576-rstudio-on-mageia In the latter link, it's suggested compile R from sources with some option called --enable-R-shlib. I'm not an expert compiling packages and people in scientific areas need very much these packages. So, I kindly ask if the Mageia team could backport a functional R-base to Mageia 3 in order to install RStudio correctly. Best.
