Description of problem:
Kernel drivers don't support FAX functionality for the passive AVM-Fritz PCI cards.
AVM did support linux drivers in forms of a mixed-source release (sources including a binary) and while it is no longer actively supported, it still works with some patches.

Mageia 3 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status 4 months ago.
