the gnome3 shell extension gnome-shell-extension-icon-manager allows to manage which icons to display; it is a nice extension to provide

source is at: https://github.com/MrTheodor/gnome-shell-ext-icon-manager

and existing rpms at:
http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=gnome-shell-extension-icon-manager&submit=Search+...&system=&arch=

thanks

I found a better one (easier for the user, with graphical interface):

Comment 2 Manuel Hiebel 2013-05-22 10:59:45 CEST
at mageia2 we provided some gnome-shell extentions but they were removed before the release to due lack of people for maintaining them, so I'm not sure we will provide them

(and they can be installed easily from extensions.gnome.org)

Does this package still need to be imported? If so, then please read https://wiki.mageia.org/en/How_to_report_a_bug_properly#How_to_file_a_package_request and update this bug report accordingly. Please pay special attention to the Summary: it should start with the package name in _lower_case_ letters.

Assuming this package is no longer needed, since there was no reply to comment 3

Closing as OLD.
