Description Karol Herbst 2013-05-21 17:08:24 CEST
Hi,
I would like to have desurium added to the mageia packages and maybe others want that, too.

Desurium is an open sourced (GPL and BSD) version of the desura game client (http://www.desura.com).
The biggest dependencies are CEF and wxGTK+-2.9.3. Both dependencies can be built by the desurium build system, because the first one is highly patched and the latter won't be packaged as a seperated package at all.

The source is located here: https://github.com/lodle/Desurium

There is already openSUSE build server jobs located here (not for Mageia though):
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=Desurium&project=games
and
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=libcef_desura&project=games

If you have any question feel free to join the #desura IRC channel on freenode

I'm having a look at it.

I assign the bug to myself, but more on behalf of our games SIG than to handle it all by myself, I'm not sure I can package it properly with my current packaging knowledge.

Finally, I could polish my packaging of desurium and have it pushed to the official repositories.
