Description of problem: I had reported this and change it to resolved but something got updated again ant it stopped working again, the "resolved" ticket was named the same as this one. Inkscape just crashes while choosing file open.. I never get the window to browse and choose the file I want to open. Running it from konsole I get the next message: Emergency save activated! Emergency save completed. Inkscape will close now. If you can reproduce this crash, please file a bug at www.inkscape.org with a detailed description of the steps leading to the crash, so we can fix it. Mageia 3 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status 4 months ago. http://blog.mageia.org/en/2014/11/26/lets-say-goodbye-to-mageia-3/ Mageia 3 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates.
