Description of problem:

Installed cauldron on a VB using btrfs as file system


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible:
It worked about a week ago on a 32bit system (older laptop, not vb), but not today on a 64 bit system
It didn't work about 3 weeks ago on the same 64 bit VB.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install system and at the end chose bootloader grub2
2.some pacakges are being installed
3.Installing bootloader is being run.
4 error message is shown as attached

Looks like the installer is missing libsigsegv2.

Not at all. The installer doesn't need libsigsegv2.
Gawk does and if awk was installed, then the libsigsegv2 package too.
There might be a linking issue or something else.

How can I find this?. My install doesn't complete and I will not be able to reboot w/o bootloader

If you don't have the file, you can switch to console 2 (by pressing 'Ctrl-Alt-F2') during installation, put a floppy in floppy drive or plug a USB key/stick and type: 'bug' then press Enter. It will put report.bug on the floppy/key.

I am going to close this bug as old and it worked on a recent mga3 install.
it was filed before mga3 release.

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
Resolution: (none) => OLD
