Description of problem: Sigil never worked on my Mageia system. I am using Mageia as of May 2012 now. The current version, 0.7.1, still crashes shortly after launching. It renders your work on current books useless, as it does not save the book when it crashes. It also does not recognize some fonts. When using the same version under Windows 7 some pages look completely different. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.7.1 How reproducible: see below Steps to Reproduce: 1. install the current version of Sigil, 0.7.1 2. edit a book (should be not too small; mine was 350 XHTML pages...) 3. shortly after you edit something the program closes and all your changes are gone forever Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

What is your ebook format? epub? other? Better... Can you provide it?

(In reply to Damien Lallement from comment #1) > What is your ebook format? epub? other? > Better... Can you provide it? Yeah, it is epub. Unfortunately I can not provide it as this is a work in progress. There are just 350 XHTML pages with text in it. When using Sigil under Windows (sorry...) there are no errors when validating through the built in validator. It seems like this is just too much to handle for the program. But this error exists as of version 0.5.x and I thought you should know.
Ping? Any new ETA?
Hi Sascha, do you still have this issue in Mageia 4 and/or latest cauldron? Is the ebook available now so that we can reproduce? Does it happen in other distributions? Is it a known bug from the sigil project, or only in Mageia?
