Description of problem:

I cannot install lib64pango1.0-devel because it wants to downgrade pango to the older package. We should include newer package of pango in the repository. Furthermore, right now I cannot  install the dependencies of the vlc.spec due to "older packages" This should be fixed.

Works here...

Just do:

urpmi pango-devel

and let it install the deps.

Yes, I had stray packages installed. I ended up re-installing the VM. Now everything is working fine.

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
Resolution: (none) => INVALID
