boot from live CD (the one from tmb on 2013-05-04),

you get frambuffer with one bubble, then the top part becomes black, then screen refreshes with 2 bubbles, and a while later it becomes completely black... (no questions)

1. pressing ctrl+ALT+F2 did nothing
2. pressing ctrl+ALT+F3 showed a text login
3. pressing ctrl+ALT+F1 showed a black console with only 1 green "[ OK ]" at the top middle.

it seems this might be due to the hybrid: the xorg.conf tries to have 2 screens (one with nouveau and one with nvidia), (i suspect (as usual) the other chip (non visible; maybe for external monitor) has the questions, and i can't see them.

anyone know any suggestions for workarounds so they can be added to errata?

i tried CTRL+ALT+[+] and such, in the hope changing resolutions would have one with one of both screens, but no deal...

i cannot proceed with testing.

workaround was to add "xdriver=vesa" during the live, i added this to errata. so, closing as wontfix (reopen if wanted) (it'll likely be some kind of quircky hardware)
