Description of problem:
I know fre:ac as an good lightwight CD Ripping tool in Windows. There is the sourcecode on the Homepage of fre:ac (GLP v2). Is it possible to get it into Mageia 3?

Please tell us whether you still need this package. I'm now assigning it to the new default assignee for package requests, but wouldn't want anyone to spend time on it if it is no longer needed.

It would be good.
Its much easier and comfortabler to handle/use then some other ripper/converter (like sound juicer or grip) because of the gui-settings and ships many codecs and uses multicore (dual/quadcore/... cpu) support.
The Linux Version is still under developement (current fre:ac snapshot 20151122), but its nice to use and runs good/stable for me.

Maybe just an info for packager - it also works to download and unpack the zipped binarys to run it from the folder, but it would be nice to see it in the repository (also for other users).
