Please refer to bug 9640

Roundcubemail would benefit from a README.urpmi explaining how to configure it as it is not straight forward to do.

At the moment there is nothing and the /usr/share/doc/README directs you to the INSTALL file, which has been removed.

Installing involves creating and initialising the database. The 'installer' is disabled in /etc/roundcubemail/main.inc.php and when enabled it is unable to save the configs, meaning configuration/installation needs to be done manually.

In cauldron, INSTALL file is now back (and README.urpmi is still there).

It's not present in mga3 or 2.

We're doing a security update for mga3 and mga2 at the moment (bug 11069) do you want to make this part of it?

Also, as found in the testing for bug 11069

For Mageia 3, in order to run the installer, I had to run
ln -s /etc/roundcubemail/ /usr/share/roundcubemail/config

Want that in a separate bug report?

Mageia 3 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status 4 months ago.
