Description of problem:
I have vertical split screen video at the run level 3 prompt.
Left and right side of screen show my /etc/issue text and login prompt.

My Caicos [Radeon HD HD7470 1GB ] system has the problem on boot.
My Cedar [Radeon HD 5000/6000/7350 Series] will have the problem after exiting KDE

Problem is also seen at a Ctrl+Alt+F2 prompt.
ATI card is a Cedar Radeon HD 5450 Series
Problem is with the fglrx driver.

fixed with fglrx-12.104-2.mga3 and kmod-fglrx-12.104-7.mga3
