3RC I should have also written: When choosing "Mount your partitions" it says "which system do you want to rescue.....". Confirmed for 64 bit DVD

Summary:
Rescue system (from classical iso boot menu) not working properly =>
Rescue system not offering to exit root choice menu I think this might be keyboard layout Dick. I find the same issue but after I went to console and 'loadkeys uk' (not sure how to get a list of what is available) and then trying again it now exits to a console root@rescue prompt. Super that you found this. But the workaround should not be needed, it has always worked out of the box till now. It did show ^C even when it was failing. Maybe a menu entry would be better instead eg: 1) Mageia (Cauldron) 3 .. etc 2) Mageia (Official) 2 .. etc 3) Quit to console
