When I want to edit a file with kwrite, using console commands, with their user, I get the following error:

kwrite(4770)/kdeui (kdelibs): Session bus not found
To circumvent this problem try the following command (with Linux and bash)
export $(dbus-launch)
KCrash: Application 'kwrite' crashing...

Comment 4 Jose Manuel López 2013-04-16 23:01:15 CEST
to edit the file usr / bin / startkde, as would be the correct command?
Comment 5 Manuel Hiebel 2013-04-16 23:05:33 CEST
su -
type your password
kwrite /usr/bin/startkde
(or kwrite, open file etc..)

"su -" give you the full environment when su is not. so not a bug.
