Description Ezequiel Partida 2013-04-09 20:44:40 CEST

Inkscape 0.48.4 r.9939 crashes while choosing File open.

I open Inkscape.
I choose File open and it doesn't do anything, it just crashes.

I tested it on many mageia 3 computers with same results.

any info if you run it in a console ? 
also you could try to get a strace: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Debugging_software_crashes#gdb

I don't get any other specific error displayed.

I just removed Inkscape 0.48.4 and installed Inkscape 0.48.3.1 from mageia 2 as well as required dependencies and I also had the problem with it in mageia 3.

Today I open Inkscape 0.48.4 r9939 and it works fine, something got updated that fixed the problem...
