Description Dick Gevers 2011-04-24 20:58:30 CEST
Description of problem:

I installed lightspark-mozilla-plugin and related (*) to try and access (for example)
http://english.aljazeera.net/watch_now/

but this gives me an error reading:
quote
We're sorry. Lightspark encountered a yet unsupported Flash file
SWF file: http://admin.brightcove.com/viewer/us1.25.02.05.2011-04-20162628/BrightcoveBootloader.swf?player Cause: argslen--1 && args[0]->getObjectType()==T_STRING /home/iurt/BUILD/lightspark-0.4.6.1/script

Under Mandriva using the package from plf:
flash-player-plugin-preview-10.3.162.29-1plf2011.0.x86_64
I have no problem viewing the above.

I don't think it is a duplicate.

Because the warnings shows in bug 913 affect older versions of flash-player.

The one in plf has a higher version, so the judgement stated in 913 cannot be blindly applied to verison 10.3.162.29
Comment 3 Ahmad Samir 2011-04-24 22:31:39 CEST
The 64bit Adobe flash is the same one that's in bug 913, which hasn't been updated since last November and doesn't have any of the sec fixes that the 32bit version got; so it's the same one that Mageia will not ship in the official repos, AFAICS.

Okay. If you say so.
