PD-extended is a very usefull program for if you are using puredata. Puredata(PD) is in the repo's and PD-Extended isn't at th moment.

Changing version to Cauldron for keeping this request.
When Mageia 2 will be in End Of Life in a little more than one month, we will close these version bugs.

If the package is present in Mageia 3 or Cauldron, you can close this bug. Thanks.

The official website states:

> THIS IS ABANDONED SOFTWARE. THERE IS NO SUPPORT.

And:

> Pd-Extended Has Been Abandoned And Discontinued. The Last Release Is Several Years Old. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK (Or Rather Not)

So we probably won't be packaging software that even its original developers encourage not to use.

Sad to here that! PD is the open source alternative for Max, a very populair programing language for musicians. It is essential in a very populair closed source DAW to give it an edge. It is made by the same developer. It has a lot of similarities. Even if it is abandoned it defenetly is not obsolete. The alternative is to use an other OS to do this kind of work. I seriously doubt that this is the option you are considering to give us open source boys. I just wanted to point this out.

The maintained alternative seems to be Deken: https://github.com/pure-data/deken

There's also Pd-L2Ork which seems to be based on pd-extended: http://puredata.info/downloads/Pd-L2Ork

At any rate, since our main Pd package is mostly unmaintained (it still has version 0.42 as imported when forking Mandriva in 2011), those additions are not likely to get package unless we get a packager interested in maintaining Pd and related packages.
