But you need to add something:

I don't see that as a dependency for this. Is that another package needed to make this work or a new package thats needed for your laptop?

Those 2 listed look to be the same except for the release version number.

Sorry, in fact it's not a dependency missing but a wrong mkrel iirc (don't know much about packaging). In normaly it should work. 
But here the package in cauldron will not update the one of mdv ;)

And I'am still under the 1, so can't test right now, but if it does'nt work I will tell you. (it's only for showing some fan speed and temperatures)
