Description of problem:

If I add LXDE to a Mageia installation using "Install & Remove Software", the default desktop contains icons for Home and Wastebin automatically.  If I install LXDE from the DVD, there are no icons on the desktop to start with.

Is it possible to make this more consistent?  I think it would be helpful to have those two icons on by default, because the instructions in the wiki on how to put them on look rather complicated and could be off-putting for a newbie.

This may affect Cauldron as well.  I see those icons don't appear on the 3beta4 desktop following installation from the DVD, but I haven't had a chance to test what happens in 3beta4 if I install LXDE afterwards.

This can't be fixed for Mageia 2 and Mageia 3 now, and I was told for Mageia 4 LXDE was merged with razor-qt, so things will be different.

Closing as OLD, sorry that we couldn't fix it. Please open a new bug if you see the problem on Mageia 4 installer before the final release is out.
