The current spec from cauldron builds a working fpc 2.6.2 (I did it under mageia 2, x86_64).
Remember that to correctly build a new fpc you need the previous stable release (2.6.0) or the current one.

fpc-2.6.2-1.mga4.src.rpm is in Cauldron.
