It's libreoffice-base that requires postgresql-jdbc (coming from RH).
Does base works ok w/o it?
If yes we could change that requires in a suggests

In my tests, this only pulls postgresql-jdbc, no other deps.

Comment 5 Guillaume Rousse 2015-02-02 22:37:10 CET
You'll still have to explain me why a java driver for postgresql is mandatory when I'm only interested in running oowriter.
Comment 6 Thierry Vignaud 2015-02-03 06:27:42 CET
If you want to save 550kb of disk space, then uninstall libreoffice-base.
You understand it's not needed for writer, do you?
Comment 7 Guillaume Rousse 2015-02-03 11:30:25 CET
I don't care about disk space, I care about correctness of automatic dependencies. Especially when they are relatively invasive, such as java ones.
