KDE often crashes when clicking on an application in the task bar

How reproducible:
Easy

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start a fresh kde session
2. start firefox
3. click on the firefox icon in the task bar to iconify it
4. click again on the firefox icon in the task bar
5. Your kde session crashes and you're now at the logon screen

Can you attach the .xsession-errors ?
It's happening only with firefox ? or with any others apps ?
Did you install a fresh mageia, or it's from an upgrade ?
Does it happen with a fresh user?
What's your graphic card & driver used ?
Do you use desktops effects or no ?

Try to reset the kwin effects to default, i'm not sure but i think that i had a similar behaviour in the past

Any iconified application (I tried konsole, firefox, okular, Kcalc, drakconf, ...)

Ooops! I didn't see that they were activated by default.
I deactivated them and retry.

When the desktop effects are re-activated. The bug comes back.
I tried Dimitrios's proposal to reset them to default, but this made no change.
The bug is still there.
