netinstall of current cauldron, but do the rescue...

upon loading stage2, at some point, it says: "loading modules..." and doesn't get past that

pressing ctrl+alt+f3 i notice that it's a screen filled with:

* modprobe ide_gd_mod

without end...

no shell on ctrl+alt+f2

a bit later, i see that the same screen is now filled with:

killing runaway process (modprobe ide_gd_mod)
