Description Anssi Hannula 2013-03-02 00:52:11 CET
As seen in bug #8773, X server can run e.g. "modprobe nouveau" which loads even if "blacklist nouveau" is set in /etc/modprobe.conf.

"modprobe -b nouveau" would not load it, so investigate and discuss with upstream if adding "-b" would be wanted here.

Note that the "-b" will cause the X server to fail to start if the driver is specified explicitely in xorg.conf.

It is my plan, but I really do not have enough time ATM so this will have to wait (at least a few weeks).
