Hello, I am a Scilab contributor and I am trying compile Scilab in my Mageia Cauldron x86_64.

But I get a configure error related with pcre. The partial output is:

checking for pcre-config... pcre-config
checking for PCRE... yes
checking for pcre_compile in -lpcre... no
configure: error: pcre : library missing. (Cannot find symbol pcre_compile). Check if pcre is installed and if the version is correct

But I have installed lib64pcre-devel.

Well, some idea about it?

Scilab search by pcre-posix, no pcre only.
I installed lib64pcreposix and the compilation was ok.

This bug report will be close.
