Description Doug Laidlaw 2013-02-09 10:45:49 CET
On alt.os.linux.mageia, we had a 62-year-old newbie who couldn't see the hollow arrowheads in rpmdrake until I had pointed them out twice. He believes that clicking on the main heading should make the submenu open automatically. I tend to agree. At the very least, the hollow arrowheads could be replaced with filled ones. That would involve no more than changing a graphic.

As the population ages (I am 70) and as more of the population grew up with computers (I didn't) user friendliness has become more important.

I am a mere youngster Doug, being 59 years old. The arrowheads are now solid but still a little difficult to see. Clicking heading should make the submenu open. I'll see if I can get any interest.

That would be a theme issue

Looks as though the whole issue is a theme issue. I created a bug only because the original complainer couldn't. Personally, I use rpmdrake all the time and have no problems.
