Can you reproduce? If yes can you run the following commands in a terminal as root: MageiaUpdate --bug=bug8967 tar cfa bug8967{.tar.xz,} then attach the resulting bug8967.tar.xz file to this bug report Keywords:

(I was curious, but no bug8967 file (or directory) was created. "MageiaUpdate > file1" and "MageiaUpdate --bug > file2" create identical files when there's no crash. AFAICS after april 2019, when another report was closed as duplicate of this one, no one reported this issue. Assuming it got fixed and closing. Status:
