oliver.bgr The bug is still current. I tested it in Mageia-5-beta2-i586. I build a rpm from smplayer-14.9.0.6690 and it works properly after I copy the themes from . I did notice that the current mga version installs themes as rcc files but smplayer-skins-20121029.tar.bz2 has them in png form. Is that likely to have a bearing? CC:

nic, remi The reason seems to be that smplayer skins are simply not packaged for Mageia. The smplayer-themes package contains icon themes, skins should be in a smplayer-skins package (following the same logic as the upstream distribution on https://sourceforge.net/projects/smplayer/files/ ). I'll package smplayer-skins and see if it does the trick. Yep, that was the issue. You'll now find smplayer-skins 14.9.0 in Cauldron [1], and the main smplayer package "recommends" the skin set [2] (i.e. it gets pulled in with smplayer unless you explicitly say that you don't want recommended packages with "--no-recommends [1] http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages?view=revision&revision=814361 [2] http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages?view=revision&revision=814359 Status:
