Description mat ali 2013-02-02 13:47:38 CET
Description of problem:

If computer start without being connected, IP address won't be defined (the icon stays with 2 green lights and turns very long without success)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

0.9.6.4-3.mga3
RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller

How reproducible:

Start computer with Ethernet cable disconnected. Connect it, NM will start assigning an IP with DHCP without success.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start computer with Ethernet cable disconnected
2.Connect it after log-in
3.

Workaround : right click NM applet, disable wired connections, right-click again, activate Wired connection and it will define IP almost instantly.

Note : I would like to not use NM, but entering "ifconfig eth0 up" in terminal wasn't working.
