Ralink RT3070 doesn't work Unlike what Ralink is providing, the staging rt2870 driver is some kind of merge of the rt2870 driver and rt3070 drivers so drakxtools are loading the right module. About your problem, make sure that you have kernel-firmware-extra installed on your system. Alternatively, you can try rt2800usb driver but you'll need a firmware which may not be available in Mageia. Note also that rt2800usb may need a 'iwconfig wlan0 power off' trick. CC:

arnaud.patard Thanks, I will test this evening. kernel-firmware-extra is installed on my system. I have uninstall and install this but it doesn't solve the problem. My wifi works after i have build and install driver from ralink web site. It's why i proposed a module rt3070 ... https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=114 Feodora has package for this module. http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/updates/14/SRPMS/rt3070-2.3.0.4-3.fc14.src.rpm I think, it needs RT2870STA and RT3070STA. zamir additions: in mageia rt3070.bin symlink on rt2870.bin, but rt2870.bin does not exist correct rt3070.bin i find in package kernel-firmware-extra-20110428-1-mdv2011.0.noarch.rpm
