When login out of a GNOME session, a black text mode screen is displayed during a couple of seconds until Gdm appears.

Hi, sorry that your bug report was overlooked. Closing as OLD because it's likely that either it's not a bug (it's not uncommon to see the console briefly when X restarts) or it's been fixed since.
