It seems like the update was not complete :
plasma-desktop: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libkdeinit4_plasma-desktop.so: undefined symbol: _ZN6Plasma6Corona25setPreferredToolBoxPluginENS_11Containment4TypeERK7QString

kdebase4-workspace seems to be build against a library which is not available on your box.

could you attach your rpm list (rpm -qa) so we can check which rpm was not updated ?

Did you try to upgrade from a mandriva 2010.2 only rpms or you were using others repository ?

@Marcello, please don't add beta/alpha/rc in the bug summary, it's not useful as a bug can live all the way through all those stages.
Comment 4 Marcello Anni 2011-04-19 08:55:07 CEST
with the last updates (that i think will be part of beta2) i resolved this issue, i'm closing it as invalid.

cheers,
Marcello

PS= ok ahmad
PPS= the build of kde was 4.5.5 of the mib

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
Resolution: (none) => INVALID

Comment 5 John Balcaen 2011-04-19 12:24:18 CEST
It's strange because i did not notice this problem with the beta1 on my netbook with the 4.5.5.
Anyway if it's ok now :)
