"my" variable $TEXMFMAIN masks earlier declaration in same scope at /bin/updmap line 53.

ERROR:  The following map file(s) couldn't be found:
	ascii.map (in /usr/share/texmf-dist/web2c/updmap.cfg)
	rsfso.map (in /usr/share/texmf-dist/web2c/updmap.cfg)

	Did you run mktexlsr?

	You can disable non-existent map entries using the option
	  --syncwithtrees.

I have noticed in texlive-texmf build logs:

+ perl -pi -e 's|TEXMFROOT|TEXMFMAIN|g;' /home/pterjan/rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/texlive-texmf-20120701-1.mga3.x86_64/usr/share/texmf/scripts/tetex/updmap.pl

Which would cause the first warning, I will open another bug against texlive-texmf

dmorgan, can you please take a look, it will show a lot of warning in the package which require it too

Just running texhash as root after installing texmf-fontsextra will solve the problem.
