I am not sure there's enough space left on the dual iso to include those packages (and their deps) for both archs.. Component:

NEEDINFO, USABILITY I just checked: aoss was required and missing. The test install was a minimal one (minimal package choice), though I did go through the sound configuration setup (no change from default, just went through that step). No more comments about alsa-plugins-pulse-config: it is in the CD for both architectures, which aoss is not.

(none) Have you tested with the alpha 1 is the package is still needed ? (or you can wait the alpha 2 for the 16/12) The package is still needed as of Mageia2 alpha1. This only occurs when going though the sound configuration step. Letting things be cleanly avoids problem and message: I actually did several installs without ever noticing anything. Correction from my previous post (comment #9): there are currently no dual-arch CDs for Magiea 2, so I could not test it. I somehow used the Magiea 1 disc without realizing. So: status unknown at this time for this bug. Still cannot be checked as of alpha 2. Please accept my apologies for the confusion. We should have dual arch cd for alpha3 but due to size problem we may have much less packages available (In reply to comment #12) > We should have dual arch cd for alpha3 but due to size problem we may have much > less packages available Are we going to have a dual arch for Mageia 2? Yes in progress for beta3 This bug is still present in Mageia 2 pre-release final CC:
