Description claire robinson 2013-01-15 20:14:44 CET
3beta2 first build (14th Jan) Installed dvd

Noticed i586 so can't confirm just yet that it's on both arch's

The default firewall setting is now disabled.

Having this enabled previously has brought praise to Mageia 1 & 2.

Screenshot of installer showing firewall marked as disabled.

As shown, the firewall is marked as disabled. This is after I've
selected the firewall configuration option, and chosen to allow
only Echo Request (ping). The firewall (shorewall) does work
correctly after rebooting into the installed system, so it looks
like the only problem is in the detection of disabled or not.

This was with an lxde install using the beta 2 i586 dvd.

Affects me too, so both architectures.
After enabling it, it still says it is disabled, even after installation and entering the Control Center and opening the configurations, it is still says it is disabled, trying to enable it does not work
