Description of problem:
As said in the summary. It's a little hard to describe. I can provide two screen shots with Gramps 3.4 and Gramps 4.0 to show what I mean.

I can a better view if I minimize and then maximize. There are still some parst missing.

I get a lot of warnings while running Gramps:
(Gramps.py:19027): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_toplevel: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

(Gramps.py:19027): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_window: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed


Many buttons are not seen until I move the mouse over them.

these warning are in a lot of apps, also this seems more for an upstream bug no ?

It seems so to me too, but I don't know in what program this is generated.

You were  testing a beta of gramps4.0 you build yourselves.
That's not a Mageia bug
