Whatever I use (clementine / KsCD / Amarok), I cannot read a simple audio CD (I used to read audio CD since before 2000 on Linux without problems).

Looks like some gstreamer plugin is missing and cannot be installed. Looking at kscd : 

$ kscd

installing gstreamer1.0-cdio-1.0.4-1.mga3.tainted.i586.rpm solve the problem. But It should have been installed by kscd automatically.
