I cannot reproduce this bug. What sort of movie did you tried? MP3, ogg ?? Roelof CC:

r.wobben I have some news about this bug: - if I run mplayer -vo X11 filename.avi (or filename.mp4, the only 2 file type I have tested) I can see the video, but that parameter was not necessary on MGA2. more, I have asked to confirm the bug on the forum but it seems that this problem happens only on my machine (https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4100) - I'm running kernel 3,.7.0 and not 3.7.1 as the latest kernel is installed but it has no entry on the grub menu (see https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4113 for details). ASAP I'll retry with kernel 3.7.1 Oke, And when you don't see anything. Could you provide the output of the command. anssi.hannula kernel 3.7 isn't supported in Mageia 2, but if this happens with Cauldron that's a problem. Sounds like a problem with XVideo (xv) on your video card. CC:
