same with kde4.10.1 ? Sorry, missed your comment. This is still happening in current cauldron. Note that you have to explicitly request to lock the screen. Locking it via idle timeout or screensaver doesn't show the problem. In Mageia 3 the locked KDE screen gets the focus but does not recognize the typed password. It is then impossible to continue under the previous login session. This is a severe bug in practice. CC:

balcaen.john, lmenut, nicolas.lecureuil same here with mageia 3. In cauldron I could type password but it was considered invalid. Now my password box doesn't get focus. CC:

Kicer86 My experience: Mageia 3 - all normal updates. I am running twinview (Separate X screen). If I lock the screen the unlock box is not centered and I cannot type the password into it. I can click it to get focus but that is all. Only way I can seem to continue is to reset X (CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE). CC:
