Seems to be far more than just the cd option i mentioned here https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8490

Selecting FTP / HTTP at this screen the screen stays blank a few seconds and then the installation starts normally without an option to add something new from the desired option (FTP/HTTP)

seems to be ok now had to setup some additional things on my hardware...
