alien Those firmwares are non free and thus are not included in the regular ISO. You need to use boot-nonfree.iso instead of boot.iso. See eg: http://distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr/pub/linux/Mageia/distrib/cauldron/x86_64/install/images/ Summary:

Intel wireless (iwlwifi) connection cannot be configured during installation (missing nonfree firmwares) but dvds iso includes them now, no ? CC:

ennael1 @AL13N, yes, bug still present. @Thierry, Manuel is correct. As noted in my initial report, the wireless network connection can be configured once I boot into the freshly installed system - so the firmware is most definitely on the DVD. As Thierry noted in comment 7, the firmware is not avaiable in the installer as it's not free. It's only available in nonfree media so it can be installed and used on the freshly installed system. only boot-nonfree.iso and live medias have the nonfree firmware available at all times Status:
