Theme name: oxygen-gtk
Kernel version = 3.3.8-desktop-2.mga2
Distribution=Mageia release 2 (Official) for x86_64
CPU=Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU          6420  @ 2.13GHz

When I try to update my packages by using the configuration centre I see a window that the media sources must be updated. But sometimes after a few minutes I still see that window.

that depends of how much you have repository enable, how fast is the, mirrors etc

This is not a bug. It could be better but it is working and depends on network connection, etc.
