Description of problem:
System start ends with no network.
Clicking on network icon then activate eth0 works.

How reproducible:
Always now, 50% a few days ago.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot
2.No network

It is a "Intel Corporation 82577LC Gigabit Network".
Dmesg says :

ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link becomes ready

I just rebooted to reproduce the bug, and it seems to be gone : now network comes up automaticaly.

I'll reopen if it comes back.

I just had the problem again now. I verified, ifplugd is running. This laptop has a dual-boot with Mandriva 2010.2 with which I never have this problem.

If speedboot is enabled, try disabling it by booting with speedboot=no on the kernel cmd at boot.
