mageiasv does the crash produce a backtrace? if so you could install some debug packages to have it in a better format and upload it here. Tell me if you have a bt so that i can ask for how many debug packages and which one you need to install. CC:

anaselli no back trace it shutsdown completley ok try running it from konsole, and try to download photos by using import menu. Then check the konsole output and copy & paste it here heres the out put when running it from konsol [marten@localhost ~]$ digikam QSqlDatabasePrivate::removeDatabase: connection 'ConnectionTest' is still in use, all queries will cease to work. digikam(6304)/digikam (core) Digikam::CollectionScanner::scanAlbum: Folder does not exist or is not readable: "/lagring/data bilder" KCrash: Application 'digikam' crashing...
